We had the chance to put our fluency skills to the test by reading with fifth grade buddies! We love connecting with older students and seeing the relationships between grade levels develop.
We loved seeing what students might aspire to be in their future last week! We had veterinarians, restauranteurs, athletes and coaches, zoologists, singers, magicians, artists, a lifeguard, and even a team of second grade teachers ready to educate the next generation! No matter where life takes them, we love knowing that God’s plans for these kids are for their good and his glory. Here are some pictures from Thursday!
We’ve been so impressed with how engaged second graders have been with their unit on aviation! They had a chance to choose a famous aviator to research, read lots of sources on their selection, take notes, and make a finished writing project to show what they’ve learned! We had a great time as a whole second grade level sharing our projects with Mrs. Andringa’s second grade class on Friday. Here are some pictures of our sharing time!
Last week was a big one with TWO field trips! We went to Christopher Farm and Gardens on Tuesday, and the Sheboygan Historical Museum on Wednesday. These are just a few pictures from the many we got on each day! Thanks again to all the wonderful parent chaperones who joined us on these fun trips.
